Dr. Timothy P. Loughlin, PT, DPT, graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, being accepted into the honors program and graduating with a BS in Rehabilitation Science.  He continued at Northeastern University completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009.  While attending Northeastern University, he had the opportunity to complete three clinical rotations at outpatient clinics at Bay State Physical Therapy in Plymouth, MA, and Select Physical Therapy in Peoria, AZ.  He also completed his final clinical rotation at Charleton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.

Upon graduation, he has worked at various outpatient clinics among the Baltimore, MD, and Providence, RI, regions, focusing on orthopedic and sports injuries, from the weekend warrior to professional and Olympic athletes, including professional ballet dancers and circus performers.  Dr. Loughlin is also a clinical instructor for the University of Maryland – Baltimore, Shenandoah University, Slippery Rock University, and Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, CA.

He returned back home to New England in Rhode Island in the winter of 2020, where he treats in the Smithfield and East Greenwich offices, offering the same orthopedic physical therapy and sports rehabilitation services to the greater Providence region that made him a preferred provider from physicians and surgeons from Massachusetts General Hospital, Hospital of Special Surgery, and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Loughlin’s treatment focuses on progressive, manual therapy and functional exercises to return patients to their previous level of function as quickly as possible.  Dr. Loughlin believes in not only treating, but educating patients in conjunction with their rehabilitation to help prevent re-injury, and maximize performance whether it is to return to driving a car or driving a golf ball.  His continuing education includes but not limited to ACL reconstruction, advanced treatments in the foot and ankle, cervical and thoracic manual therapy, and dry needling.

Gregory Vescera, a native of New England, earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy from American International College (2003) and later his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University (2014). Greg was first introduced to art of orthopedic manual physical therapy in 2008 when he attended his first Functional Manual Therapy course. He then began the tract to become a Certified Functional Manual Therapist which he earned in 2014. 

Following the IPA coursework, Greg focused his education on spinal manipulation and dry needling through the Spinal Manipulative Institute. In 2018, Greg enrolled in the fellowship program taught by the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and earned fellowship recognition in the American Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy (2019). 

Greg provides a unique type of therapy service which blends Functional Manual Therapy and Spinal & Extremity Manipulative Therapy, incorporating Dry Needling, and functional exercise programs, resulting in a whole body, systematic, treatment paradigm. Greg is passionate about achieving a holistic wellness which includes: optimal health, peak fitness and proper nutrition. 

Greg is an active member of AAOMPT, APTA and PTAG and also serves as a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer. Greg is an active individual who enjoys Crossfit, running, hiking, mountain biking and yoga.
